On November 13th, 2010, Lifeway is sponsoring a Half-marathon race near Shreveport, La. The money raised goes to support Extreme Missionary Adventures. Besides, what a great opportunity to shed some pounds and get into shape!

As an added bonus, we’ll fellowship together as we campout at Eddie D. Jones State Park the night before. Bring a tent (or RV if you’re so inclined) and all the resources needed for an evening of fun and fellowship. The campground is currently working on a new shower and restroom facility and expects the project to be completed before race day.

Some guys (and girls) have been talking about training together over the next couple of months. What do you say? Won’t you join us? We’ve about 10 folks who’ve expressed an interest!
