What to Expect
When and where do you meet on Sunday mornings?
What will it be like?
At Calvary Baptist Church, we recognize that people matter to God, so people matter to us! We promise that you will find a warm, inviting atmosphere when you visit. You will meet many smiling faces and be welcomed into our church. At 9:00 a.m. we gather for Bible Study. When you come through the front entrance, you will be warmly greeted by ushers who will escort your family to the appropriate location(s). Worship begins at 10:15 a.m. in our Worship Center. You will find our worship services are a blended style of worship where you might hear both hymns and contemporary music. Our Speakers hold a high view of the Word of God and practice expositional preaching.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you are comfortable worshiping in! Some may be dressed in their “Sunday best,” while others will be dressed casually. It doesn’t matter to us what you wear.
What’s available for my children?
Will I be singled out in any way?
No! We want to create a comfortable environment for you to worship. If you are a guest, we will not ask you to give money, we won’t make you wear a visitor badge and we will not ask you to stand up (and stand out like a sore thumb!). We do request everyone that worships with us, (including members) to complete an attendance card. This gives us an idea of how many people are worshiping with us.
How do I get there?
