What To Expect

If your question isn’t answered here, please feel free to contact us!

What will it be like?

People matter to God, so people matter to us! We promise that you will find a warm, inviting atmosphere when you visit. You will meet many smiling faces and be welcomed into our church. At 9:00 a.m., we gather for Bible Study. When you come through the front entrance, you will be warmly greeted by ushers who will escort your family to the appropriate location(s). Worship begins at 10:15 a.m. in our Worship Center. You will find our worship services are a blended style in which you may hear both hymns and contemporary music. Our pastors hold a high view of the Word of God and practice expositional preaching.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever you’re comfortable worshiping in! Some will come in their “Sunday best,” while others will be dressed casually. It doesn’t matter to us what you wear.

What's available for my children?

We want your children to feel comfortable and loved at Calvary. We have wonderful Bible study classes at 9:00 am for kids of all ages. During worship, nursery and extended care are provided for children 4 and under. We encourage children aged 5 and up to attend the worship service with their parents. Family worship is a vital part of Calvary, and we believe it is important that children see from a young age how to worship with their family and church body.

Will I be singled out in any way?

No! We want to create a comfortable environment for you to worship. Our guests won’t be asked to give money, wear a visitor badge, or stand up (and stand out like a sore thumb!), but we’d love for you to complete an attendance card to give us an idea of how many people are worshiping with us.
